Baseball Recap: Avon Old Farms Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Avon Old Farms faced Kingswood Oxford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Beavers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wyverns 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Beavers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Avon Old Farms' tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games.
