North Oconee had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Clarke Central Gladiators a 5-0 shutout. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by five goals or more this season.

North Oconee pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Clarke Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Oconee will welcome Cedar Shoals at 5:30 p.m. on March 11th. As for Clarke Central, they will host Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarke Central has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
