Volleyball Game Preview: Start Spartans vs. Northview Wildcats

The Start Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Northview Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Start came up short against Adrian and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 21-25, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Northview unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Springfield, falling 3-0.

Northview was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Start now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Start might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Northview in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
