Softball Recap: Denver Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Denver lost to South Hardin back in May of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cyclones came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cyclones.

Denver's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for South Hardin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Denver will challenge East Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Cyclones' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Hardin, they will take on Dike-New Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
