Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Harding

Harding's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks by a score of 12-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Avorn Vang spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Cadence Lee was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Vang, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Harding's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Harding will face off against Brooklyn Center at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will square off against DeLaSalle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
