Gateway Regional's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Paulsboro Red Raiders get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by nine runs or more this season.

Savannah Smith tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April.

At the plate, Emma Worthington was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Kaitlyn Marshall was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

Gateway Regional's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Paulsboro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gateway Regional is set to face off against their familiar foe Lindenwold at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paulsboro will square off against rival Haddonfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
