Baseball Recap: Florala Takes a Loss

Florala and Fayetteville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Florala had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Florala's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season.

While Florala had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
