Catholic - N.I. won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Catholic - N.I. was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-6, 25-9.

Amelie Trappey paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up nine kills. Trappey got some help from Renee Frederick and her 14 assists. Addisyn Derouen controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Catholic - N.I.'s victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
