Biglerville proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 18) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Littlestown Thunderbolts, sneaking past 7-6. This was payback for the Canners, who suffered a 5-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.
The team relied heavily on Kierney Weigle, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Leah Strawsburg was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
Biglerville's record now sits at 2-0. As for Littlestown, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
