Baseball Recap: Bastrop Comes Up Short

Bastrop and Weiss squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Bastrop had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Bastrop saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Bastrop is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13. As for Weiss, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6-2.

As of now, neither Bastrop nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
