Football Recap: Clarkstown Comes Up Short

Clarkstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 15-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yonkers Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Yonkers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 two weeks ago.

Clarkstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Yonkers, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clarkstown will face off against rival North Rockland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Yonkers is set to square off against their familiar foe Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
