Basketball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

Dodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Claiborne Christian Crusaders and fell 61-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-38 two weeks ago.

Dodson's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Claiborne Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Dodson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Converse at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Claiborne Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Ouachita Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Claiborne Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
