Northeast took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Montgomery Central Indians 9-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Northeast's offense was hitting Montgomery Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Joao Guilherme Castelo Branco led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will welcome Clarksville Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery Central, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Waverly Central at 6:00 p.m.
