Lafayette has gone a perfect 5-0 against Carencro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will welcome the Bears at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lafayette is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Barbe just ended the team's 11-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Buccaneers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since November 7, 2024.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Thursday. Carencro took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Church Point. Bears fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Church Point since Thursday.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Carencro, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
