Basketball Recap: NCSSM: Morganton Takes a Loss

NCSSM: Morganton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 71-48 to the Madison Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 71-64 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

NCSSM: Morganton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Madison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

NCSSM: Morganton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Owen at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-40 defeat against Tuscola on the 10th.
