For the second straight game, Franklin will face off against Pisgah. The Panthers will welcome the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Franklin is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Pisgah just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 8-3 to the Bears. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Franklin has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .459. However, it's not like Pisgah struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
