Basketball Recap: Forks Piles Up the Points Against North Beach

Forks came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the North Beach Hyaks to the tune of 69-19. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Hyaks are ranked 360th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Forks has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for North Beach, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Forks will head out on the road to challenge Chief Leschi at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Chief Leschi: they have been struggling with ten straight losses at home, while Forks has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. North Beach has already played their next matchup, a 55-30 loss against Ocosta on the 1st.
