Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Patterson Mill

Patterson Mill won the last time they faced Aberdeen, and Rylie Madsen did her part to make sure it happened again. Patterson Mill enjoyed a cozy 45-29 win over the Aberdeen Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Madsen, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in the last three games she's played.

Abby Shertzer was another key player, putting up four points and eight assists. Those eight assists gave her a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Patterson Mill and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Aberdeen, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Patterson Mill will challenge Bel Air on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
