After a string of three wins, Beaverton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Valley Lutheran Chargers by a score of 4-2.

Brooke Remer put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. Remer was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Remer wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Miranda Hess, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Beaverton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Valley Lutheran, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-15 record.
