Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is St. Henry's 14th in Last 16 Outings

It's playoff time, and St. Henry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Columbus Grove Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2016.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Morgan Baumer, who had 27 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matchups. Alexis Buschur also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.

St. Henry is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Columbus Grove, they moved to 12-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

As of now, neither St. Henry nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
