Basketball Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats on Saturday, falling 68-47.

When it comes to explaining why Bethel lost, don't look at Michael Halleg. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Lowery, who put up 12 points and six rebounds.

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Donelson Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Miami East at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they will take on Davidson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 4th.
