Brookstone has gone 8-2 against Schley County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Brookstone is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Brookstone is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Stratford Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Cougars were dealt a 75-18 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-4.

The losing side was boosted by Julie Anne Pyle, who posted nine points. That was a full 50% of Brookstone's points, marking the third time in a row Pyle has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Schley County had to kick off their season on the road back in November, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past Glenwood with points to spare, taking the game 56-39.

Brookstone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Schley County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Brookstone lost to Schley County on the road by a decisive 49-30 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
