Basketball Recap: The Awty International Takes a Loss

After flying high against Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart last Friday, The Awty International came back down to earth. The Awty International Rams were beaten by the Houston Christian Mustangs 70-19 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

The Awty International's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Houston Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

The Awty International will challenge Cooper at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston Christian, they will square off against Kinkaid at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kinkaid knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Houston Christian likes a good challenge.
