Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Takes a Loss

Gloucester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Gloucester sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-23, 14-25, 15-11.

Gloucester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Gloucester has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bethel on the 16th. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Norfolk Christian on the 16th.
