Soccer Game Preview: Howard Tech vs. Ooltewah

The Howard Tech Hstln Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Ooltewah Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ooltewah took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Howard Tech, who comes in off a win.

Howard Tech barely beat Walker Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hstln Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Howard Tech hit Walker Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maynor Rodriguez, Anderson Vicente Vicente, and Matias Albornoz.

Meanwhile, Ooltewah didn't have quite enough to beat Red Bank on Monday and fell 3-2.

Howard Tech is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Ooltewah, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1.
