Volleyball Recap: Larned Takes a Loss

Larned lost against Victoria last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.

Jadyn Crosby paced Larned's offense, picking up three kills. Crosby were helped by Anna Simmons and Brooke Simmons, who contributed four assists each.

Larned's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Victoria, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Larned is taking a road trip to challenge Hoisington on Tuesday. As for Victoria, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Plainville on the 13th.
