It was fun while it lasted, but Rivers of Life Christian's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Monday. They took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Fulton. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

The Fulton can attribute much of their success to Lily Leonard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Millie Allen was another key player, putting up six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rivers of Life Christian fell to 3-1. As for The Fulton, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rivers of Life Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eagle Ridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. The Fulton also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Crosspoint Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
