Baseball Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. Wilson Wildcats

In what's become a running theme this season, South Hills gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Wilson Wildcats as the South Hills Huskies made off with a 17-1 victory. With that win, South Hills brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Christian Santoyo looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, South Hills got a massive performance out of Christian Gomez, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Steven Jimenez was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

On Wilson's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan DeSon, who went 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI.
