Basketball Recap: North Thurston Comes Up Short

North Thurston lost against Gig Harbor back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Thurston Rams took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gig Harbor Tides. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, North Thurston still got an impressive performance from Micah Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Anderson is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Kurt Cavalier was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

North Thurston now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Gig Harbor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.
