Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Falls Short Against Ranked Orem

Mountain View faced Orem in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bruins took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 26-28, 25-16.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Orem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain View will challenge rival Uintah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Orem is set to square off against their familiar foe Timpanogos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
