Volleyball Recap: Britton-Hecla Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Airiana Buer and Ava Teveldal

Britton-Hecla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Milbank Bulldogs. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Britton-Hecla's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Teveldal and Airiana Buer. Teveldal had 15 digs and one assist, while Buer had four assists and two aces. Teveldal has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Britton-Hecla's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Milbank, they moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their eight-match losing streak.

Britton-Hecla has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Florence/Henry on the 27th. As for Milbank, they will face off against Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
