For the first time this season, Springfield was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Perkins Pirates could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. The outcome might've been different if Jackson Miller hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.
