Football Preview: Granite Hills Eagles vs. Steele Canyon Cougars
The Granite Hills Eagles have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome the Steele Canyon Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Monday, Granite Hills came up short against Grossmont and fell 33-20. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Foothillers are ranked 51st).

That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Kaliani Ewing, who gained 115 total yards and a touchdown.
Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Steele Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Granite Hills skirted past Steele Canyon 20-18 in their previous matchup back in October. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Ewing, who rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
