Soccer Game Preview: Rangeview vs. Thomas Jefferson

The Rangeview Raiders will head out to face off against the Thomas Jefferson Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rangeview has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rangeview's offense. They came up short against Northfield on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for Rangeview in their meetings with Northfield: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let Hinkley get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Hannah Storey had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Thomas Jefferson.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Thomas Jefferson, they moved to 2-4-3 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Rangeview couldn't quite get it done against Thomas Jefferson in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
