Basketball Recap: Madison Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Madison won the last time they faced NCSSM: Morganton, and Gavin Gault did his part to make sure it happened again. The Madison Patriots blew past the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons, posting a 66-28 win thanks in part to Gault, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Buck Robinson was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Madison's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for NCSSM: Morganton, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-16 win against Rosman on the 28th. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 83-36 defeat against Mitchell on the 29th.
