Volleyball Recap: Classical Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Salle Academy, Classical was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Central Knights 3-0. This was payback for the Purple, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Classical's got stronger as the match went on, holding Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Amaya Womack paced Classical's offense, picking up seven kills. Womack got some help from Dara Agramonte and her 12 assists. Agramonte and Womack didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with six apiece.

Classical's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Classical will face off against Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
