Quincy won the last time they faced Belleville East and things went their way on Friday too. The Quincy Blue Devils came out on top against the Belleville East Lancers by a score of 57-50. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Lancers are ranked 56th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Quincy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season. Belleville East moved to 21-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Quincy will take on Alton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Quincy surely won't give up without a fight. Belleville East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
