Volleyball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

Stanton suffered their biggest defeat since September 4th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fremont-Mills Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Stanton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Fremont-Mills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9-1.

Stanton has already played their next contest (against Essex), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fremont-Mills, after both having extra time off, they and Sidney will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
