Softball Recap: Sonora Broncos vs. Stanton Buffaloes
Sonora posted their closest victory since March 25, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Stanton Buffaloes 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-4 last Saturday.

Liliana Gallegos was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Aanz'Leigh Abalos was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Sonora always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stanton only posted an OBP of .294.
