Baseball Recap: Westerville South Comes Up Short

Westerville South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lancaster Golden Gales, falling 11-3.

Westerville South's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Lancaster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Westerville South and Lancaster are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats will host Briggs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lancaster, they will be playing at home against Hilliard Darby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
