Stevenson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Greenfield Bruins, posting a 35-6 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Bruins are ranked 841st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of Stevenson's win came down to the chemistry between Fin Mink and his top target Grady Roth. Mink threw for 203 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes while Roth picked up 101 receiving yards and three TDs. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Roth a new career-high.

Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Greenfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
