Monrovia's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Beech Grove Hornets. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won seven in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Ciara Elliott, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine games. Addi Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Monrovia's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Beech Grove, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
