Basketball Recap: Indian River Comes Up Short

Indian River was the 48-44 winner over Christian Brothers Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves were dealt a 71-29 defeat at the hands of the Brothers on Saturday. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Indian River still got an impressive performance from Sophie Walsh, who posted four points in addition to six boards and three steals. Walsh is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Indian River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
