Basketball Recap: Thetford Academy Comes Up Short

Thetford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 52-32 to the Spaulding Crimson Tide. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 39-31 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Thetford Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Spaulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thetford Academy will face off against Peoples Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spaulding, they will take on Lyndon Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
