Basketball Game Preview: Milton-Union Bulldogs vs. Arcanum Trojans

Milton-Union hasn't had much luck against Arcanum recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 7:15 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

Milton-Union is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 42-30 to Miami East. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 706th, while the Vikings are ranked 348th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Titus Copp, who posted ten points. Will Johns was another key player, putting up four points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Arcanum entered their tilt with Twin Valley South on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Panthers 62-47.

Arcanum's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Milton-Union, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
