Volleyball Recap: Tahoma Bears vs. Emerald Ridge Jaguars
Tahoma won the last time they faced Emerald Ridge, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tahoma Bears had just enough and edged the Emerald Ridge Jaguars out 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Tahoma got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-15, 20-25, 15-13.
Nohea Alo paced Tahoma's offense, picking up 18 kills. Alo got some help from
Isabelle Foote and her 30 assists.
Roxy Dow controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Tahoma has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9-1 record this season. As for Emerald Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 20-9.
