Basketball Recap: Divine Child Falcons vs. Canton Cobras
Divine Child lost against Canton back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Divine Child Falcons took a hard 61-42 fall against the Canton Cobras. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Kessler Blakita was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds for Canton. Those 15 boards gave Blakita a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teddy Winstel, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Divine Child and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Canton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Divine Child is facing Greenhills at the right time seeing as Greenhills is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Canton and Grosse Pointe South will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
