Waldwick/Midland Park gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Rutherford Bulldogs by a score of 32-20. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 20-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ryan Natoli had a dynamite game for Waldwick/Midland Park, rushing for 205 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 46 receiving yards. Natoli was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards. Dylan Ferrara was another key player, rushing for 15 yards and two touchdowns.
