Martins Ferry hadn't done well against Union Local recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Purple Riders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Jets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Purple Riders.
