Soccer Recap: Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville didn't have enough. They lost 5-1 to the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville were already down 4-0.

Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-2. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville will square off against Middleburgh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they will venture away from home to challenge Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berne-Knox-Westerlo's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Cobleskill-Richmondville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
